St Peter’s is the original Church of England parish in Earley on the eastern side of Reading.
As a building, St Peter’s represents a landmark in Earley and it is a picturesque venue for weddings and baptisms.
St Peter's also provides the home for civic worship, in particular the annual Remembrance Service.
Our Sunday worship is centred on the Eucharist (Common Worship), said at 8am and sung at 10am, with an informal family Eucharist accompanied by a small music group on the first Sunday of the month. We continue our fellowship in the church hall over coffee, providing a friendly atmosphere for regulars and newcomers alike.
Evening worship at 6.30pm varies from Prayer Book evensong to alternative said services which are currently lay-led. See the Worship page for more information. And the Music section for information on our excellent choir.
Our church life extends to many social activities in which we are pleased to welcome other members of the community. You can find out more in the Life together section.
